Elicit AI – Scientific Research
An iPhone and iPad app for finding, reading and synthesising scientific papers, with every AI answer tied to the sources it came from.
What you can do
- Search across OpenAlex, Crossref, PubMed, Europe PMC, arXiv, ClinicalTrials.gov and Semantic Scholar from one search box, with deduplication, retraction flags and preprint labels.
- Ask a research question and let the research agent plan, search, read and synthesise an answer with page-level citations you can verify.
- Upload PDFs (including scanned ones, with on-device-style OCR on our servers), chat with them, extract data into tables, and generate reports in APA, MLA, Chicago or Vancouver.
- Keep a library with collections, tags and notes; run systematic-review screening; set routines that re-run searches and alert you to new papers.
Elicit AI is subscription-based: an active Elicit Pro plan, purchased through the App Store, is required to use its features.
